About Adventure in Color
Creating With You, Step by Step
Adventure in Color began with a simple spark — making creativity feel easy, joyful, and doable for everyone. That spark started years ago when I made jewelry from recycled items and later grew as I studied graphic and web design. Those skills still shape my banners, signs, templates, and the visual identity of Adventure in Color today.
After graduating during Covid, my path shifted, but the creativity didn’t stop. I designed special‑occasion displays for Schnucks and eventually expanded into mobile paint parties, where I learned what people love to create and how they connect through art.
Adventure in Color is now growing in motion — shaped by real experiences, real people, and real moments of joy. Every event and every project helps build the foundation for what this creative adventure is becoming.
The Mission
Adventure in Color exists to bring people into a space where creativity meets adventure — making art feel easy, joyful, and accessible for everyone.
Why Art Matters
Art brings people together. It helps us slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the creative kid inside us. My goal is to make every Adventure in Color experience feel joyful, approachable, and meaningful — a place where you can show up exactly as you are and leave feeling proud of what you created.

Girls’ night in
“She made everything easy and fun, even for those of us who don’t consider ourselves artists. The instruction was excellent, the experience was thoughtful, and the playlist had everyone laughing and singing along. It was such a relaxed, joy‑filled night — I’d absolutely recommend Adventure in Color!” — Tiffani K
I had so much fun at the Adventure in Color paint party I went to and will be doing it again! Even though I got behind during the painting (painting and taking care of a baby is not easy), Melissa was able to catch me up and answered the questions that I had!
-Grace S.
“My 5‑year‑old daughter loved her watercolor kit! The templates, supplies, and step‑by‑step video made everything easy, and she kept saying it was the best craft ever. Watching her paint with so much joy was wonderful. We’d absolutely recommend Melissa’s kits and can’t wait to see what she creates next!” — Sarah B & Avery
I 'm looking forward to my party on 8/7. I’ve had really great conversations with Melissa, she’s so helpful and an experienced creative artist. I’m sure it will be a wonderful event.
